DENSITY CONTROLLED THERMOPLASTICS

The LATIMASS compounds are designed to offer controlled and variable density nearly seamlessly from 0.75 to 11 g/cm3.
They are used to manufacture high density products containing heavy metallic or mineral fillers.

As a result, variable densities up to a maximum of 11 g/cm3 are obtained, suitable for the manufacture of inertia masses, counterweights and parts for jewelry, fashion and design.

Low density products are an alternative to the use of blowing agents. Filled with special hollow glass beads, they deliver densities of less than 1 g/cm3 and are therefore recommended for sports articles, floats and ultra-light mechanical parts.
