On the occasion of the conclusion of the celebrations for its Eightieth anniversary, LATI presents a historical video created thanks to Artificial Intelligence technologies. The project represents a meeting of memory, innovation, and identity, and tells the company’s story in a contemporary language.

A wealth of images that tells the story of LATI

The video originates from a wealth of archival photographs documenting the company’s early years, the faces of the people who helped build it, and the key moments of its industrial and human journey.

These are often black and white images, marked by time, that hold a fundamental part of LATI’s identity.

Artificial Intelligence as a bridge between past and present

Thanks to the use of Artificial Intelligence, the archival images have been animated, restoring movement and expressiveness without altering their historical value.
The result is not just a simple digital restoration, but a bridge between past and present, capable of making the narrative more engaging and accessible.

This approach allows us to view LATI’s history with a fresh perspective, valuing memory as an active, not static, element.

A project desired by LATI to enhance people and identity

The project was strongly desired by Michela Conterno, CEO of LATI, and coordinated by the Marketing & Communication team, with the aim of telling the company’s story authentically, consistent with LATI’s values and its orientation towards innovation.

“Looking to the past for us does not mean stopping at nostalgia, but recognizing our roots to continue building the future with awareness. This video is a tribute to the people who made LATI what it is today and an invitation to feel part of a story that continues”
Michela Conterno, CEO of LATI

The making of the video and the technological contribution

The technical production of the video was entrusted to Neural Pictures, a company specializing in advanced Artificial Intelligence applications for enhancing visual content.

The project involved Erica Nagel, Francesco Foppoli, Francesco Persiani, and Nicolò Facchinetti, contributing to transforming the historical material into a visual experience capable of engaging and moving.

An anniversary that looks to the future

The video represents the symbolic closure of the celebrations for LATI’s Eightieth anniversary, but also a new starting point.
A narrative that combines tradition and innovation and reaffirms the company’s commitment to building value over time, together with people.
