LATI presents the list of its compounds referenced for the Renault Group Materials Panel 2024 (PMR). For the 4th year, LATI totals around fifteen products certified for all the brands of the automotive manufacturer RENAULT.
LATI is well-known as a leader in compounding flame retardant thermoplastics for electric high-voltage applications. Today, LATI extends its experience and current products to the automotive sector, specifically dedicated to EV (electric vehicle) and UB (under engine bonnet) functions following the Renault requirements. The materials range includes standard grades for electrical applications based on PA (LATAMID) and PBT (LATER); flame retardant with or without halogens; and glass fiber reinforced.
PPS (LARTON) or PESU (LAPEX A) compounds are dedicated to higher temperature classes.
New requirements in progress for thermal management
This year sees the emergence of new heat dissipation requirements with the introduction of our LATICONTHER range of compounds. Based on PA6 or PPS, these products can offer high thermal conductivity levels and electrical insulation when necessary.
