Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy:

Circular Plastics Alliance (CPA)
The CPA is a European coalition promoting the use of recycled plastic in new industrial products. The goal is ambitious: to reach 10 million tons of recycled plastic used annually by 2025. LATI participates to actively contribute to the transition towards a circular economy.

Operation Clean Sweep® (OCS)
LATI adheres to OCS, a voluntary European program for responsible management of plastic pellets. The goal is clear: prevent pellets, flakes, and powders from entering the environment during production processes. A choice aligned with LATI's commitment to concrete sustainability.
Research, Innovation and Technological Development:

AFIL – Lombardy Intelligent Factory Association
LATI is a member of AFIL, the regional technology cluster recognized by the Lombardy Region that promotes collaboration between companies, universities, research centers, and associations, including Confindustria Varese, for the development of advanced manufacturing.
Through AFIL, LATI participates in an innovation network focused on sustainability, digitalization, and industrial system competitiveness, contributing to the spread of practices and projects that promote evolution towards smart manufacturing.

CEI – Italian Electrotechnical Committee
For over a century, CEI has been the reference point for technical standardization in the electrotechnical, electronic, and telecommunications sectors in Italy. Founded in 1909, it promotes safety, innovation, and sustainability through technical standards, training, and scientific culture. With over 3,200 experts involved and active presence in European and international forums, CEI guides the country's technological evolution, contributing to the 2030 Agenda objectives and addressing future challenges with cutting-edge standards.

EuMBC (European Masterbatchers and Compounders)
Since 2021, LATI has been a member of EuMBC, a sector group of EuPC (European Plastics Converters), which represents and protects the European compound industry. The association is active in key regulatory and technological areas: from REACH regulations to food contact, from process innovations to sustainability challenges.

Proplast
The Proplast Consortium is a leading technological center in the development
and promotion of innovative solutions for the
plastics sector. Founded in 1998 in Alessandria,
it offers research, development, training, and consulting services
for companies in the industry.

TMP – Plastic Materials Technicians
Founded in 1979, TMP is the association that promotes technical culture in plastic materials,
organizing events, courses, and conferences to update industry professionals. LATI shares the association's mission and supports the dissemination of technical knowledge.
Networks and Business Support:

AICE – Italian Foreign Trade Association
AICE has represented Italian import-export companies for almost 80 years. It offers services, consulting, and institutional relations to develop international business. LATI is a member to strengthen its presence in foreign markets with a competent support network.

AIDAF – Italian Family Business Association
AIDAF is the reference point for Italian family businesses. With over 275 member companies, it represents about 17% of national GDP. LATI, a family-run business since 1945, shares with AIDAF the value of continuity, intergenerational responsibility, and ethical leadership.

Confindustria Varese
LATI is associated with Confindustria Varese, an organization representing over 1,000 local companies that promotes industrial development, institutional relations, training, and innovation. LATI is also part of the Rubber and Plastics group, dedicated to the sector.

Elite – Euronext Group
Elite is Borsa Italiana's international ecosystem (now part of the Euronext Group) designed to support SME growth. LATI is part of the program, demonstrating its entrepreneurial vision oriented towards innovation and openness to financial markets.

Rubber and Plastics Federation
The Rubber and Plastics Federation is the reference association within Confindustria for Italian companies operating in the rubber, electrical cables, and plastics sectors. Founded to promote and protect the interests of these industries, the Federation consists of two main associations: Assogomma and Unionplast. LATI, a member since 2025, shares the Federation's mission to support companies in the sector in their economic, technical, and environmental development. The Federation is actively involved in sustainability policies, recycling promotion, and innovation, representing almost 500 companies and over 51,000 workers in Italy.
The Federation represents the plastics, rubber, electrical cables, and related industries in negotiating the National Collective Labor Agreement for the sector.
Social Responsibility and Inclusion:

Libellula Foundation
Libellula Foundation works to prevent gender violence and promote inclusion and a culture of respect in the workplace and society. LATI is part of the Foundation's corporate network, contributing to educational and social projects that put people at the center.

Merit Forum
The Forum is an association that promotes merit as a core value for a fairer society through cultural initiatives and collaborations with institutions. LATI supports its mission and commitment to a culture of equity and equal opportunities.

GIUNCA
Giunca is Italy's first corporate welfare network, founded in 2012. It unites companies committed to improving their people's well-being through concrete, shared projects oriented towards collective growth. LATI actively participates in this network, believing that work can and should be a place of balance, attention, and care.

Women in Plastics Italy
Founded in 2024, Women in Plastics Italy is a community created to enhance female talent in the plastics sector. LATI is an active part of it, believing in a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable industry.
