This need led to the <strong>collaboration between LATI and Babyliss<\/strong>, resulting in the development of the <strong>BabylissPro Falco<\/strong> hair dryer, one of the most silent and advanced ever created.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br\/>PPS: the Technical Polymer that Challenges Heat and Moisture<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the core of the project is a special material: <strong>polyphenylene sulfide (PPS)<\/strong>, a thermoplastic known for its <strong>dimensional stability and thermal resistance above 200\u00b0C<\/strong>.<br\/>It is a polymer that is:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>resistant to chemical attacks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>moisture-resistant (anhydrous)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>stable even in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LATI used PPS to develop <strong>LARTON<\/strong>, a family of structural compounds reinforced with <strong>glass fibers and mineral fillers<\/strong>, perfect for <strong>components subject to thermomechanical stress<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br\/>The Right Material for the most Delicate Parts of the Hair Dryer<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Conair, the group that owns Babyliss, chose <strong>LARTON GCE\/650<\/strong> \u2013 PPS-based with a 65% load of <strong>glass fibers and ceramics<\/strong>, to manufacture the <strong>internal grids<\/strong> and other functional elements of the Falco hair dryer.<br\/>These parts are located near the <strong>heating elements<\/strong>, where temperatures can exceed 200\u00b0C.
