Along with metal alloys, high-performance composite materials and synthetic polymers are also used. <br\/><br\/>At the heart of one of Ottobock&#8217;s most tested and approved prosthetic knees on the market lies a high-performance thermoplastic component: a <strong>plastic bushing<\/strong> that enables smooth and controlled knee flexion.<br\/><br\/>Due to strict safety requirements, the need for comfortable and harmonious movements, and above all, a durability exceeding three million cycles, Ottobock had to choose a cutting-edge material capable of passing all rigorous tests required before patient use.<br\/><br\/>This is where the collaboration between <strong>LATI<\/strong> and <strong>Ottobock<\/strong> began.
